Joy was pastured with Silver Lining, aka Sully, for a couple of years and we thought maybe she would never get pregnant.  Even as she was getting closer she never really looked very big but noticed a milk bag starting so located her to the maternity ward. Because she was so tiny and this was her first baby we foaled her out at the clinic to play it safe. Well, she did an awesome job without much help and is the most attentive yet relaxed momma I have seen yet. A true “Joy” to experience. And this little boy is the sweetest little guy. Of course his sire and grandsire are such sweethearts too. Whoever buys this guy along with his best buddy, Piccolo, will have the cream of the crop in donkeys.

Seleese has given me several spotted boys in a row so this was quite the surprise that she had a beautiful black boy this time around. She had a difficult delivery last time so we played it safe and had her foal out at the clinic. Also she was absolutely huge so worried this baby might be too big. She also had hydros amnion which is too much fluid and they worry about going into shock when losing too much at once. Well thank the Lord she popped him out in about 20 minutes with no issues at all. Jo Jo is a total lap donkey loverly. He will stand there all day if you are giving him hugs and kisses. He will be a wonderful gelding for children or adults alike. Anyone would be blessed to own this beautiful sweet boy.

One of my favorite pairings and I have done it again. The babies these two produce are always the cream of the crop. Jiggy is a perfectly put together shaggy ball of fluff. Love his little head and very stocky structure. His personality is the best. Fun, high spirited and snuggly as ever. This little guy is a real pull on my heartstrings but I know I can’t keep him as I have 4 jacks already. Better scoop him up before someone else does. He will be a wonderful addition to anyone’s farm.

This was the first time in my 25 years of breeding miniature donkeys that my kids and grandkids were here and got to witness the foaling and I was able to keep it going smoothly. Thank God everything went perfectly. I looked up and they were all lined up along the outside of the stall in their pajamas. Hence the name Pajama Party. This little girl is so sweet and so trusting. At a week old I was haltering her, picking up and cleaning all 4 hooves, etc. You can do just about anything with her as long as she is getting attention. I would love to keep her but I am not getting any younger so trying to think with my brain instead of my heart. She is very special and will need a friend to join her at whomever’s farm she goes to.

"Last but not least" and "good things come in small packages” and “the best things are worth waiting for” are a few phrases that come to mind regarding this tiny little girl. I was unable to get Jacee settled for the past few years. Decided to give it one last try and put her with my junior herdsire, Silver Lining. It took a few cycles but I was elated when her October ultrasound showed she had a tiny 3 to 4 month fetus inside. When the time came she popped her out in a matter of minutes. Don’t let her small size fool you. This little lady is full of piss and vinegar but comes running for love every time she sees anyone. She is very cooperative with grooming, feet, halter, etc. I am sure she will stay very small and she is as correct as they come with her conformation. Those big eyes melt me. Due to circumstances out of my control I am now reluctantly offering Junebug for sale. She would be a great companion with Oopsie Daisy.

I came out to feed in the morning and found this little spotted surprise standing next to her momma. Bon Bon did not have a full milk bag yet so I didn’t have her under my barn cams. I have only missed a few foaling out of over 200 in the past 25 years. This little girl is a real knockout. I absolutely love the light gray and white spots and her big beautiful eyes with full eyeliner is so pretty. She likes to crawl in your lap, loves to be brushed, is easy to halter and lets me pick up and rasp all four hooves. I really want to keep her but we will see. A perfect addition to anyone’s herd including my own.

This amazing little jack is our first foal by our Junior Herdsire Silver Lining and we couldn’t be happier with the result. Due to the fact that Lilly has had uterine inertia issues with her last 2 foalings I decided to play it safe once again at foal her out at the clinic. Luckily I did as she had that problem again. With their expert help she delivered a live healthy baby. I named him Pizookie because a brewhouse restaurant nearby has a wonderful dessert of a big pan cookie with vanilla ice cream on top. His coloring reminds me of that cookie. This little boy has some unique colors to his spots and is the sweetest little donkey you could hope for. I have not yet decided whether or not to offer him as a jack or a gelding and will see what his future holds. Regardless , he will be a great addition to your herd.

With his awesome and lovable personality, Zeus will do a wonderful job of helping these kids. He is very playful but very cooperative and smart.
