Jammie was bred to Hot Tamale in February of 2018. So needless to say I have spent many sleepless nights waiting for this baby to arrive. After watching her like a hawk for the past 7 weeks she decided to wait until I went to town and then plopped down in the front yard and foaled. We came home to find him just making his first attempts at standing. So happy all went well. He is a beautiful boy and sweet as can be. We have been trying out several names on him such as High Beam, Hot Smudge Sunday, Silver everything you can think of. For now we will settle on this one but subject to change. You are sure to fall in love with this guy as he is pretty irresistable.

This young lady slid into the world in the last hours of St. Patrick's Day so had to give her a good Irish name. She is stunning and has the most beautiful deep red coat. Rose is a very heads up elegant girl with an amazing presence about her. Hot Tamale definitely put his stamp on this one. She will be a wonderful asset to any farm and is "in your face" friendly. Snatch her up quickly as she will not last long.

After losing my last foal and my girl Lilly (Sparks' full sister) needing a c section this was a most welcome happy day!!!!! Charissa is my smallest jennet and she always amazes me with how quickly and easily she delivers her foals. I was beyond elated to have this all go right. This little beauty is everything perfect in a tiny donkey with exceptional color and conformation and a friendly, friendly baby to boot. She is definitely the cream of the crop and returned the Sparks Of Joy to the business of breeding these wonderful donkeys. Will decide later if she will be offered for sale.

Hot Tamale does it again. And full credit to my beautiful Jacee as well. Every foal of Hot Tamale's consistently comes out looking like a tiny version of a perfect show donkey. Everything is perfect every time!! Oh my this little boy is so loving and sweet. Loves to give little kisses when I kneel down to his height. He is fast and busy and silly but when you sit near him he becomes this sweet little mellow LOVERBOY!!!!! He will be a fantastic addition to anyone's family of animals. Will offer him for sale with another little donkey friend as soon as more foals are born. Gelding price $2500. Jack price to be determined.

This little girl was born out in the back 40 in a horrible wind and rain storm. Penny did not look close to foaling so I mistakenly let her spend the day with her friends. When I found them later that day the baby was limp and almost lifeless suffering from neonatal maladjustment syndrome. I rushed her to the Equine Clinic ICU where she spent the next 4 days. With very intensive care you have a 50/50 chance with these babies. They either die or, as in this case, they make a full recovery with no residual effects. She is our Little Miracle baby and thinks she belongs in the house with the rest of the humans. Weeks later now she is the silliest most active baby ever. I cannot walk around to do my work outside without her wrapping herself around my legs and following me everywhere. Thinking I should change her name to Holy Terror or Hell On Wheels!!! I will decide a little later if she will be offered for sale or if she needs to stay here to keep me in line.
