Our 2000 thru 2003 Foals

All our babies are handled from the moment they are born and many times daily thereafter. We pick them up and carry them around, tap their hooves, put our fingers in their mouths and ears and rub them all over their bodies. Our foals learn to trust people completely as they associate us with comfort and security. It always does my heart good when the babies come running up for loves every time I walk into their pasture.

Buckwheat is like a little teddy bear. He has that same foal coat as Sweet Pea - curly and reddish blond. Nice straight legs and a great face. Good bone and a super disposition.

Sweet Pea was stocky and square from the moment she was born.  Nice straight legs, and looking exactly like her mom. We kept her as a future broodjennet.
