What a great day!!! Dolly gave birth to this little bundle in the front yard at 9:30 a.m. Textbook delivery and as always a wonderful mama. Doesn't get any better than this. He started trying to bray as soon as he could stand which was about 10 minutes after birth. He sounds a bit like a duck right now but I am sure he will master the full hee haw before long. He is a talker! I love everything about him. He looks just like is sire Panache' with a compact little body and straight stocky legs. I would love to keep him but I really need to stop wanting to keep these boys!! I believe he will make an awesome herdsire but would also be a lovable pet if that is what someone wants. I will price him later as he matures.

Another early bird born at our ranch. Penny, who had only a small bag and none of the typical signs came up for breakfast with this little beauty in tow. What a beautiful and petite baby girl. Not sure yet of her true color but she is awesome and loves, loves, loves to give everyone kisses and wrap herself around them. Nice small head and great conformation on this jennet. Penny's first two foals by Moony were Fully Frosted Spotted White like he is. This one decided to take after her stunning mama. I couldn't be more pleased with this result. Cinnabon will make a great addition to anyone's farm.

Evening of the 22nd and Nutmeg looked close to delivering even though she was only a bit past 11 months gestation. My girls tend to foal at 12 to 13 months. I left here with the herd thinking no way would she foal so soon. Well the next morning she did not come up for breakfast and panic set in. As I started my search I noticed in the lower pasture a beautiful red foal running circles around it's mother. Thank God and yippee!!! A beautiful feisty perfectly correct little girl. Just what I was hoping for. In the days following she is a very friendly lap donkey who comes running every time she sees me. She will make an awesome addition to anyone's farm. Hoping to get another little jennet in the near future to be her forever friend.

I watched Tootsie like a hawk all day and then let my guard down to run to the grocery store. Came home to find this beautiful little jennet just born. She is a beautiful cinnamon color and has the most beautiful head on her. She looks like an Audrey Hepburn donkey. She carries herself like a true showgirl and is a sweet and lovable as they come. She is truly the cream of the crop. Perfect in every way. She will add quite the statement to anyone's herd.

Not sure if this guy is really a real donkey. Looks more like a stuffed animal or maybe a mini calf?? He thinks he is a human. Has no clue what social distancing is. I cannot walk 3 feet without him coming up and wrapping himself through my legs and leaving slobbery kisses all over me. He had a bit of a rough start and took several hours to get the nursing thing down but he is making up for lost time and now there is no stopping him. He has a puppy dog personality and needs to be with a family who wants to spend a lot of time loving on him. He looks to maybe be a wooly as well.

This pretty girl was born under this year's Super Moon hence the name Moonshadow. She is the sweetest most gentle little donkey just like her momma who I totally adore. Sadly she was born with a dislocated C1 vertebrae where her neck attaches to her skull. Luckily it has not slowed her down one bit as she runs around as if trying out for the Kentucky Derby. She nurses and eats just fine and the only issue at this point is that she holds her head out and up more than normal. She does not appear to have any discomfort. She will be re evaluated on a month by month basis for possible surgery or chiropractic care to correct the problem. For now I will just love her to pieces.

Update! Moonshadow has shown amazing improvement as we had hoped. As she is growing the vertabrae is slowly moving into place. This is not a genetic issue and once resolved it will be history. She will make an awesome breeding jennet or a very lovable addition to any family. She is a besutiful girl and so loving and sweet.

He is black like Panache with a touch of Mahogany and the excellent bone and conformation of both his parents. Sweet as a bug and very kissable. Extremely people friendly like all my babies are.
